IGNOU Goes Online – Access good study material from IGNOU free of cost

The Indira Gandhi National Open University was established by an Act of Parliament in 1985. Today it serves the educational aspirations of about 1.5 million students in India and 35 countries abroad through 11 Schools of Studies and an elaborate network of 58 regional centres , 7 sub- regional centres , 1400 study centres, and 41 overseas centres. EGyanKosh – A national digital repository of learning resources, where all the self-instructional material of all the program of IGNOU are made open to the public. University has entered into an agreement with “Google Ireland Ltd” for the telecast of the university videos on the “YouTube” channels as well.

IGNOU also entered into online course where it currently provides Master in Lib. And Information science, and PG certificates in cyber law. It will provide all courses online and will launch its online additional facilities soon.

IGNOU is also going to provide its students walk-In admission, integrated multimedia course ware (personalized learning space), online counseling and mentoring, 27 * 7 learner support, assignment management system, e-tutor based practical, group-based online seminar and online term-end examinations.
